And so on V1, V2, V3, V4, V5, V6, etc. The ‘V’ indicates it’s a 'Villa' and the number gives the number of bedrooms.On older urban cardenetas (deeds) a house for habitation will be described Casa de Habitação. On newer type cardenetas (deeds) it will just be written as Habitação. Bathroom translates as Casa da Banho in PortugueseIf it used to be a farmhouse with land it may say QuintaIf it has a garage it will say Garagem. If it has a storage building it will say Arrumos or Arrumação. If it is has a shed it will say Abrigo. If it is for commercial use it will say Comercial. If it’s an old olive press it will say lagar.
